
PraeWi is about practice-oriented and science-based solutions to the manifold challenges regarding the hazardous use of substances among asylum seekers and refugees in institutional accommodation.
A total of three studies are planned within the PraeWi project.
Needs and resource analysis
The first study looks at the needs and resources in institutional accommodation regarding the hazardous use of substances among asylum seekers and refugees. Both qualitative and quantitative survey methods are used

Acceptance and feasibility study
The second study investigates the acceptance and feasibility of the prevention concept and is carried out among the relevant actors of the setting using qualitative research methods. Depending on the result, corresponding conceptual adjustments to the multi-component prevention concept will be made after this second study.
