What PraeWi is?
The PraeWi project is about the substance use among refugees in institutional accommodation and what can be done about excessive consumption.
What PraeWi does?
The PraeWi project carries out research and develops preventive solutions adapted to the needs and resources of different stake holders concerned in the institutional accommodations.
The project team of the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences is actively supported by many cooperation partners and persons with experience of displacement.
Within the project, we are interested in the needs and resources of forced migrants who consume substances, as well as in the needs and resources of forced migrants who do not consume substances and deal only indirectly with the topic.
At PraeWi we deal with the perspectives of single persons and families, persons from all countries of origin, persons with or without a residence permit, persons of all sexes and persons of all ages.
Even if you no longer live in a institutional accommodation or have contact with people living in institutional accommodation, we would be interested to know your perspective on our project topic.
How to participate?
You are welcome to exchange ideas with us or even actively participate in our surveys and the design of our prevention concept for institutional accommodation.
We would be delighted to receive a message from you using our contact form! The contact with you and your contributions are invaluable to our project!
AND VERY IMPORTANT:
Our project is located at the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences and scientifically orientated. Your contact with PraeWi has no influence on your asylum process or your stay in Germany!
